Kelvin Taketa supports a philanthropist in preserving the Hawaiian language
Working with philanthropist Dwayne Steele, Kelvin Taketa helped launch Hawaiian-language immersion schools and began publishing “a number of books that were first written in Hawaii that had been out of print.”
