Barbara and Pitt Hyde seek to influence education policy in and outside of their philanthropy
The Hydes launched Ed PAC to help elect school board candidates. Through their foundation, they then paid for the board’s governance training. It’s a way “within the bounds of philanthropy to make a difference on the education policy makers.”
