Balancing long-term relationships with innovation: Leonard Aube describes the tension between investing in existing grantees and identifying new ones
The Annenberg Foundation has often made multiple grants to strong-performing organizations, such that the Foundation’s portfolio changes little for periods of time. Occasionally, though, the Annenbergs feel the need to open the portfolio to new ideas.
