Grim prognosis: Angry and discouraged by the lack of Alzheimer’s treatments available, McCance realized he had to do something about it
“Each doctor I went to said, ‘try three Advil a day,’” Henry McCance says of his struggle to find Alzheimer’s treatments for his wife Allison. Frustrated by slow progress in fighting such a prevalent disease, McCance decided to do something about it.
