Seeding a micro-loan website: Bill Draper invests in the tech-savvy founders of Kiva.org
Draper Richards Kaplan bet early on two entrepreneurs who sought to make it easier for individuals to make small loans to the poor around the world. The results: Kiva has facilitated $380 million in loans since its founding in 2005.
