Saleem Khan

Saleem is the director of philanthropy for the Asia and Africa region, based out of our Mumbai office. He leads the business development efforts for our advisory work in the Asia and Africa region and plays an advisory partner role on key client and knowledge engagements.

Before joining Bridgespan, Saleem spent close to 5 years at the British Asian Trust, where he helped establish the organisation’s presence in India. At the organization, he was a lead in pioneering Social Finance work with Government(s), private, and not-for-profit partners that tackle complex development challenges, including improving education and gender outcomes in India. Saleem was also the chief executive for United Way India and currently serves as a trustee on the board of a local disabilities charity- Motivation India.

Saleem has a private sector background and has spent close to two decades in the financial services industry with prestigious organizations like Citibank NA and Aviva, where he held senior leadership positions. He is an engineer and holds a master’s degree in business management from Mumbai.
