Marion Michieka
Manager , New YorkMarion is a manager in Bridgespan’s New York Office. Since joining Bridgespan in 2019, she has supported philanthropic and nonprofit clients across a range of issue areas, including K-12 education and early career pathways, democracy, reproductive health, criminal justice, and behavioral and public health. Her projects have focused on strategic planning, organizational effectiveness, place-based collective planning, and funder sourcing and diligence.
Marion has also served as a coach in Bridgespan’s two-year consulting and capacity-building program for nonprofit executive teams, Leading for Impact®. Additionally, she has contributed to Bridgespan’s knowledge work, co-authoring Race and Place-based Philanthropy: Learnings from Funders Focused on Equitable Impact.
Prior to joining Bridgespan, Marion served as a high-school biology teacher and Director of College Access and Persistence in the RePublic Charter Schools network. Marion earned her undergraduate degree in Neurobiology from Harvard University and her Master of Education in Teaching and Curriculum from Lipscomb University.
