Giovanni Cruz

Giovanni Cruz is a senior manager in Bridgespan’s New York office. Since joining the organization in 2020, he has supported strategy development efforts for nonprofits and philanthropists across a diverse set of issue areas, including the environment, youth development, democracy, and gender equity. Giovanni also served as a coach in Bridgespan’s two-year consulting and capacity-building program for nonprofit executive teams, Leading for Impact ®.

Prior to joining Bridgespan, Giovanni spent 4+ years at Teach for America, as a data analyst. While there, he developed reports and data analyses to accelerate fundraising efforts across the organization. Prior to this role, Giovanni started his career as a systems engineer at General Mills, supporting efforts to improve the reliability of cereal packaging equipment.

Giovanni holds an MBA from the Yale School of Management, where he was a Consortium for Graduate Study in Management Fellow, and a BS in Industrial Engineering from the University of Puerto Rico.
