
Gabrielle de Haan Montes
Manager, San FranciscoGabrielle de Haan Montes is a manager in Bridgespan’s San Francisco office. Since joining Bridgespan in 2022, her work has focused on philanthropic and nonprofit clients across a range of projects spanning funder strategy, sourcing and diligence, and strategic growth planning. Gabrielle is particularly passionate about issues related to climate change and environment, global development, and innovative financing mechanisms.
Gabrielle joined Bridgespan after obtaining a dual MPA/MPP from the London School of Economics and Sciences Po Paris. While in graduate school, her interests focused on climate change, development, and impact investing. Gabrielle published a working paper on determinants of VC/PE investments in green tech with the European Investment Fund and won the runner-up award in the MBA Impact Investing Network and Training competition. Previously, she worked across the private and public sectors, including the Development Finance Corporation and a health-tech start up based in Nairobi. Gabrielle also started her career in the art world in Christie’s Graduate Training Program.
Gabrielle received her BA in East Asian Studies and Art History from Columbia University and was a Yenching Scholar at Peking University in Beijing. Originally from France, she grew up in London and in Italy. She is fluent in French and Italian.
