Former Melrose, Mass., Mayor and Founder of Civitas Public Affairs Group Patrick Guerriero Joins Ranks of Bridgespan Group’s Fellowship Alums
Guerriero served as advisor to Bridgespan teams focused on philanthropy and advocacy.
Guerriero is a former three-term Massachusetts state legislator, a two-term mayor of Melrose, MA, and a leading strategist in the marriage equality movement. He worked with a Bridgespan team to develop a diagnostic framework for situations in which advocacy could be an important leverage point for social change. In addition, he co-authored a recently released article, “When Philanthropy Meets Advocacy,” with Bridgespan Partner Susan Wolf Ditkoff and continues to collaborate with her to share the content externally.
According to Ditkoff, “I could not think of a better thought partner to learn with on these important and timely issues.
