Promoting Equitable and Inclusive Green Job Growth in Southeast Asia

By Xueling Lee, Chris Addy, Roger Thompson, and Rose Farah

A transition to a green economy offers a bright future for Southeast Asia, representing a US$1 trillion economic opportunity by 2030 and creating up to 30 million jobs by the end of the decade. However, there has been little research on how to help underserved individuals and communities access these emerging green jobs.

Our new report explores the emerging green jobs landscape in Southeast Asia, and puts forth recommendations to improve accessibility to these jobs.

Webinar: Lessons for Systems-Change Leaders

Population-level impact requires massive change to systems that perpetuate inequitable outcomes.

Achieving this impact requires the efforts of an often unseen—yet highly effective—type of intermediary that we call a “field catalyst.” Field catalysts work to harmonize myriad actors across a social-change movement to achieve a shared goal.

So what does it take to be a field catalyst?

In this free webinar, we’ll:
  • Describe what field catalysts are and the unique role they play
  • Surface lessons and advice from field catalysts for fellow change makers
  • Share common challenges and ways to avoid them

Please join us at one of two sessions, planned to accommodate those joining from different time zones:
